Kali ini saya berkunjung ke sebuah warung yang terletak di jalan Ngagel Rejo Kidul Surabaya. Warung ini unik karena hanya menyajikan makanan berbahan jamur. Warung apa itu? Saung Jamur. Dari namanya saja sudah tahu kan makanan apa saja yang disajikan? Jamur. Pilihan menunya cukup banyak. Membuat saya bingung untuk memilih menu apa. Setelah membaca menu berulang-ulang akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk memesan Sate Jamur. Jamur dijadikan sate? Enak? Pertanyaan itu yang selalu terngiang di kepala saya selama saya menunggu pesanan datang.
This time I visited a shop that is located in Ngagel Rejo Kidul street Surabaya. This shop is unique because it only serves food made from mushrooms. What shop is that? Saung Jamur (Mushrooms). From the name alone already know what foods are served? Mushrooms. Pretty much the menu options. Makes me confused what to select menus. After reading the menu over and over I finally decided to order the Sate Jamur or Mushrooms Satay. Mushrooms made satay? Is it good or bad? The question is always ringing in my head during my wait for orders to come.
Akhirnya pesanan saya datang. Sate Jamur, nasi putih, dan segelas es teh. Tampilannya mirip dengan sate ayam. Bagaimana dengan rasanya? Apakah sama? Tidak. Rasanya berbeda. Lebih kenyal tapi lebih empuk. Mirip cumi tapi lebih lunak dan lembut. Bumbu jamurnya enak. Bumbu kacangnya juga berbeda dengan bumbu kacang sate ayam. Lebih berbumbu. Enak.
Finally my order came. Sate Jamur or Mushrooms Satay, white rice, and a glass of iced tea. It looks similar to chicken satay. What about the taste? Is it the same? No. It feels different. More chewy but more tender. Similar squid but more soft and gentle. Tasty mushroom seasoning. Seasoning of the peanut sauce is also different with chicken satay peanut sauce. More seasoned. Delicious.
Finally my order came. Sate Jamur or Mushrooms Satay, white rice, and a glass of iced tea. It looks similar to chicken satay. What about the taste? Is it the same? No. It feels different.
